ATA Digital carnets

Carnets are gradually going digital, and paper carnets will be obsolete within the next couple of years.

Digital carnets go live.

Digital carnets are now live in the EU , Switzerland and Norway .

If you are visiting the EU, Switzerland or Norway only, your carnet will be digital only.

If you are visiting EU, Switzerland or Norway along with other countries in the scheme, you will have to use a digital carnet for EU, Switzerland and Norway, and a paper carnet to be used in other countries.

If you are only going somewhere other than EU, Norway, Switzerland, your carnet will be paper.
